Game of Thrones Prequel set during the Age of Heroes
Many fans seem optimistic about an upcoming Game of Thrones prequel, which will be set during the Age of Heroes. The prequel is expected to cover stories from "the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the white walkers."
Jane Goldman and George R.R. Martin's co-written script has officially been given a pilot order by HBO. The story takes place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones and tells the tale of the Age of Heroes & the Long Night, this includes the White Walker's origins.
