AMRAP is an acronym for "as many rounds as possible"; it is a common abbreviation used by CrossFitters in reference to a workout that utilizes a timed sets training approach. The most common time domain of this type used by CrossFit is AMRAP in 20 minutes, with the tasks predetermined.
In simple words, regular circuit workouts have a standard break time, while in AMRAP workouts you are going to rest as necessary. But don’t take that for granted! You still need to push yourself.
