New Species of Frog named after 3-year-old girl
< Sylvia's Tree Frog was identified by researcher Andrew Gray. Gray works as a researcher at the University of Manchester and set out to prove that the new frog was not a Splendid Tree Frog. He chose to name the newly identified species after his granddaughter.
This frog species has been confused with a similar looking one since 1925, but now researchers at The University of Manchester have discovered it is in fact its own species!
