The iPhones of years to come could look like futuristic flip phones. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office published an application detailing the tech Apple Inc could use to build foldable smartphones.
Samsung recently showcased its foldable smartphone at its Developers Conference 2018, which will see the light of day in early 2019. The company is said to launch the device at CES 2019 next month.
A potential name or price for a foldable iPhone has yet to be announced, but it’s clear that Apple sees potential in its competitor’s design.
