WhatsApp conversations will be arranged at a glance
Technology: WhatsApp is known to be preparing the latest "view once" or "one-view message" feature. The feature that initially only applies to photos and videos will also be applied to text messages. According to the site that often accurately leaks new WhatsApp features, WABetaInfo, this one-view text message feature has just been developed for the beta version of WA Android.
Like the "View Once" feature for photos and videos, one-view text messages will also be deleted automatically as soon as they are opened. Once viewed, the text message will disappear from the chat and can no longer be read unless the user asks the sender of the message to resend it. This feature can be used by users to send confidential or sensitive messages, for example, passwords, financial details, and others.

Because the recipient of the message will not be so easy or flexible as to spread the message to other users, WABetaInfo's findings show that the one-view text message feature was rolled out by WhatsApp for its Android beta version 2.22.25.20. Based on the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo, the one-view text message icon appears like a one-view message for photos or videos.
It's just that the description that appears next to the icon is adjusted to the type of message, namely "text," indicating that the message is a text message. When a one-view text message has been auto-deleted and the user tries to open it again, a message appears stating that the message has expired. "This text has expired; please ask the sender of the message to send it again," said the statement that appeared in the WhatsApp application.
