Avatar 2: Definitely lives up to the hype
Movie Review - Avatar 2: The Way of Water Definitely lives up to the hype. Beautiful development of the plot, character growth, and "natural" progression of the characters' lives. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, and Sigourney Weaver are the film's main actors. The movie follows Jake Sully, and Neytiri as they face an old menace that compels them to engage in combat with people.
Hollywood: For a 3 hour and 12 minute movie, the plot was simple to follow and anything but boring. It lived up to the expectations, and even after seeing it, you still feel like you want more, especially given that the sequel was published 13 years after the first.
I'll say it straight out: It's the best movie production I've seen in years. Of course, no movie is perfect. This aesthetically spectacular, immersive experience benefits greatly from 3D and is a need. The CGI animation is seamlessly incorporated into breathtaking scale and minute details, and the scenes with the extraterrestrial life forms of Pandora juxtaposed against the cutting-edge technologies of the human sky-people are so inventive that you find yourself wondering, "How the hell did they do that?"

Particularly from the perspective of siblings, the characters are likeable, accessible, and engaging. Particular sequences really touched home and gave me the impression that this was just a "regular" family dealing with issues that "normal people" deal with.
The movie was incredibly spectacular when I saw it; the visual effects were gorgeous; the movie would still be mind-blowing without the use of 3D effects; the seasons, animals, and Avatars were all vivid and immersive. I wouldn't suggest 4DX to anyone who finds it difficult to concentrate on a movie when other things are distracting them, such as the chairs swaying and tilting, the lights flickering during some action sequences, the mist spraying when they come in contact with water in the movie, and the wind flow.
