Apple TV+ Losing $1 Billion a Year: What's the Impact?

About - Apple company is reportedly losing $1 billion annually on Apple TV+.

Apple has some of the best TV shows and movies of all streaming services. They are just incredibly horrible at marketing. They don't have enough content but they don't market and they are not pushing aggressively enough in that category. I watched a Leo Dicaprio / Robert Dinero film on Apple, and it seemed like a bit of a murder mystery western from the trailer. Nope, big mistake. It ended up being an absurd tale. Awful and miserable 2 hours.

I’ve watched Ted Lasso and The Morning Show, and I have no idea how good or bad the other shows are. I checked out The Morning Show only because of Jennifer Aniston and Ted Lasso, because it frequently appeared in Apple’s demos—I never expected it to be that good. I really enjoy the shows they have. Wish they wouldn’t wait so long for some of them.

Apple TV+ Losing $1 Billion a Year: What's the Impact?

Apple TV+ is losing money. Maybe it’s likely temporary. Apple’s services are just gaining momentum. I’m sure Apple is playing the long game here. Although I’ll agree that TV+ lacks quantity, it never misses out on quality! Apple produces some fantastic shows but lacks enough content to keep people around. You could get it for a couple of of months, watch everything you want, then cancel. It’s not like they’re coming out with new content that frequently; you won’t miss much.

The content is very good, and the production is excellent. BUT, a big but, Apple needs to improve the app, which is a mess and not very intuitive, add more series, and improve the timing of the series, which in 99% of cases are very slow. After five years, we deserve better.

Apple would do better to improve OS X to the great operating system it used to be (prior to Snow Leopard) before they started to remove all the useful features, and just add bloat.
