Taking to social media, Tatiana Maslany, who plays the lead role of She-Hulk, also wished her Indian fans a happy Rakshabandhan.

Note for the writers: to make feminism digestible, why don’t you try, for a change, to make female heroes relatable and maybe even goofy as the male heroes are? Try to give them problems other than “fighting the patriarchy”, with a less shitty attitude. Just for a change, to see how it goes.

In the Marvel Cinematic Series, She-Hulk, Tatiana is a lawyer who specialises in fighting human-oriented legal cases. The nine-episode series stars Mark Ruffalo as the MCU’s Smart Hulk; Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/The Abomination; and Benedict Bong, Josh Segara, Jon Bess, and Renee Ellis Goldsberry as Wong.

The series is directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Walia and written by Jessica Gao.

The series, produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro, and Jessica Gao, will be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar from August 18 in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages.
