Chris Evans as Captain Hydra: A MCU Storyline

Can HYDRA (Marvel character) be revived in the MCU? If it is revived, then which actor do you have in mind who can successfully pull off the role of Captain HYDRA? What if Chris Evans becomes Captain Hydra in the MCU?

In order for it to truly work. Doom would have to put this team together. Something where we can get to know these characters and not just variants. It would be fun regardless, but I want a compelling drama & story as well.

Chris Evans as Captain Hydra: A MCU Storyline

I'm really hoping Valentina is part of Hydra, and she's trying to create her Dark Avengers*(thunderbolts*) and we see that US Agent become Captain Hydra. That would be a horrific adaptation of the Dark Avengers, and would REALLY sour the character of U.S. Agent. The U.S. Agent has never been a terrible guy, just broken.

I’m a big fan of U.S. Agent as a supporting character, and joining Hydra is something he would never do. At the end of the day, he’s still trying desperately to be as good of a man as Cap, but the man is haunted.

No superhero movie has followed any of the comics to a tea. Civil War and Infinity War are completely different from the comics aside from a few key things like Tony v Cap and the snap. WB has been doing it since Batman Begins being an adaption of Year One.
