Hawkeye Renewed for Action-Packed Second Season
Entertainment/MCU: Hawkeye has been renewed for a second season. Clint's brother, Barney, will play a major role, and the season will be inspired by The Raid, with Kate and Clint stuck in one location.
That's interesting! While there haven't been any official announcements from Marvel Studios about Hawkeye season 2, the rumors are intriguing.
This was probably the news you were hinting at regarding Hailee Steinfeld. It would be great to see more of her as Kate Bishop. I wish Hawkeye S1 would’ve been about Ronin meeting Kate & taking on gangs during the time between Infinity War and Endgame!
We can expect to see Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop since their bond was a major part of season 1. Alaqua Cox's Maya Lopez (Echo) is also likely to return, especially considering her own Disney+ series.
The series is going to be super cheap and technically yes, because what they're aiming to do with the second season sounds incredible. So if you've been keeping up with the reports on what is happening with the future of the Hawkeye series original, it was pitched as a limited series, but then, after it was all said and done, Marvel started to like to submit it.
For you know, consideration for awards and whatever it changes from a limited series to a first season or season one implies a season. 2 will happen.

We recently talked about the fact that multiple insiders and websites reported we are getting a season 2, and now we allegedly have the first details now when I said that they're looking to make the series cheap. It is because allegedly the story of the second season is all set in one location, it's inside, apparently a locked down building where kate and clint are stuck inside of it, trying to fight their way out heavily inspired by the film the raid or dread.
For example, and that Clint's brother Barney will have a major role in the series and possibly be a villain. Now, for those that are aware, uh his brother goes by the name of Trick Shaw, usually, but he's also gone by Hawkeye as well.

I’ve been watching the first season every Christmas since 2021, its definitely one of the most solid Disney+ series looking back, I don’t think most people on here appreciated it enough when it first released.The character is rather new in the comics um he showed up in like the last decade. I want to say it was definitely after 2010, probably 2011 2012 somewhere around there he's made a couple appearances, obviously he's kind of just like Clint proficient in you know, bows and arrows proficient in hand to hand combat great marksman super athlete, so I mean having Kate and Clint take him on in a raid style, probably six episode series where they got to fight their way, probably to the top of it.
Super action-packed- and you know over the top I mean this- is how you keep a cost down, keep a location small and produce something that the MCU hasn't seen yet and, in my opinion, if this turns out to be true, this is exactly what season 2 needs to be. I'm going to guess season two is for them to get captured and locked in here before they break out. They got to get to the top of this building.
They realize hey, it's Barney Barton up there. There he's somehow involved whether there's a twist or not coming. They got to fight their way to the top to escape, probably going through some familiar factions.
I wouldn't be surprised if, like the hand, makes an appearance cuz now they're, you know all in cannon with the Netflix stuff, you could probably toss in uh I don't think the track soup mafia would make sense as well to continue that, like this, seems pretty awesome and um. This turns out to be true, yeah I am in for this.
Category Switch: Disney submitted Hawkeye for the Emmy Awards in a category that allows for multiple seasons, which some see as a signal of confidence for the future.
Echo Spinoff: The introduction of Kate Bishop and Clint Barton's connection to her is being built upon in a spin-off series centered on Echo, which suggests Disney+ is interested in expanding this corner of the Marvel universe.
