Ironheart Soars onto Disney+ in 2025!

Entertainment: Marvel fans rejoice! The highly anticipated series "Ironheart" finally has a release window. After months of speculation, Disney+ confirmed the show will blast off sometime in 2025.

Marvel Studios' upcoming Iron Heart, which finished shooting in November of 2022, has officially found a release date and it's really far off like we're talking about serious amounts of waiting. So the fears that Iron Heart has been cancelled, which has been going uh well I guess theory slp speculation among people online due to the fact that we haven't seen much can officially be put to rest.

A description of the 'IRONHEART' teaser shown at Disney Upfront:

"Brief footage of Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne) struggling to get her suit of armor built. We see her stealing various parts from around campus, and then getting booted from the institute for doing so.”

This news comes after a long journey for "Ironheart." The series was first announced in 2020, with actress Dominique Thorne cast as the brilliant inventor Riri Williams. Filming took place between June and November of 2022, and a 2023 release seemed likely. However, the project faced delays, pushing the premiere back to a tentative 2024 date before disappearing from the release schedule entirely.

The wait is finally over, though! Disney unveiled the news during their 2024 Upfront presentation. While an exact release date wasn't announced, fans can now look forward to seeing "Ironheart" sometime next year.

This comes at us officially from the us copyright office, which recently had an updated marvel studios lineup and marvel and disney have told them that the brand new date for iron heart is no longer in the cards for this year, as it was at one point or even early next year.

It is now slated to premiere on September 3rd of 2025, and this is assume, assuming everything works out on a timely schedule, with the potential of more delays, depending on what happens with other projects and how they have lined things up.

Obviously, I think most people are looking at this as something that's um sort of taken a long time, because it's got a line up with other elements of the MCU, specifically Armor Wars.

This honestly is probably the best case scenario that they take their time and make sure it's right and if they have to reshoot stuff. But this means it's going to have been sitting on a shelf for well over 2 years, like that's a really long time to sit on a series you finished shooting in November of 20122 um. So it'll be interesting to see what the messaging is behind.

What can we expect from the series? "Ironheart" follows the story of Riri Williams, a genius teenager who builds her own advanced suit of armor, rivaling even Iron Man's technology. The show will explore her journey as she embraces her potential and becomes a superhero in her own right.

Details are still under wraps, but a teaser trailer was reportedly shown at the Upfront event. Though not available to the public yet, the glimpse offered a look at Riri's determination as she scavenges for parts to build her iconic armor.

The series will also introduce audiences to The Hood, a cunning supervillain. Actor Anthony Ramos will take on the role, adding another layer of excitement for comic book fans.

With its focus on a young, intelligent protagonist and the promise of thrilling action sequences, "Ironheart" seems poised to be a major hit for Disney+. The wait may have been long, but it appears the series will be well worth the wait.

Author's Note

I liked the character in Black Panther. I wish she could keep the suit from the film but I guess based on the leaks it will be makeshift. I do wonder how magic is involved in the show. As much as I want this, I’ll believe it when I see a trailer announcing the date. This release date shuffling has been a headache.

This could help the MCU get back on track with a solid story. Why? Because I am hopeful that a fresh character could bring a good story back to the MCU. I really hope she changes suits because her comic one is much more iconic.

They changed the Captain America suit in the upcoming movie. Hope they do the same with Iron Heart. It's not that I don't like it, but other people don't and also to be honest I would like some new suits similar to the comics.

And, finally, I’ve missed this kind of tech in the MCU. I just hope she continues to upgrade as the show goes on so we can see the progression of her craft.

This and when they even show off anything for it, but in my opinion, I think this will work as they're spacing out all their content more so everything we had congested previously into 2 years is now being spread among like four to five.

It's giving everything more time to breathe, which is exactly what people want. So some of the people that are mad at this are celebrating on the sea. This is exactly what you asked for more breathers and now you're going to get it so I think this is honestly the best case scenario for them it's just going to take more time and um.

They can really make sure they put out the best product tied into armor wars and also really take their time on the marketing department and make sure they push us to the moon and back.
