John Ternus: Apple Vision Pro Team Gets a New Leader

Technology: The head of Vision Pro, Dan Riccio, will retire. John Ternus will now lead the Vision Pro team! Pretty stoked about Apple’s vision for the Apple Vision. Big things to come.

John Ternus's record of bringing ideas into reality excites me for the Vision Pro future. The mastermind who returned to run the iconic products iPad, AirPods, and Apple Silicon Macs will take charge of the Vision Pro team.

I’m interested in who they pick for CEO. I’ve heard John’s name in the mix. I believe he’s 49, so he could be CEO for the next decade after Tim finishes.

You know he will be the next CEO of Apple, John Ternus, he is only 49 years old, and of course anyone over 60 is downhill, per what I read. Yet, they do have the experience and the connections and how to do business.  If he is selected, he be at Apple for maybe 24 years a CEO.

There is no GIF for either one. Can believe that. Someone better made some. I like the Vision Pro, don't own one but still like it.  Tanks I posted a picture of both.

And, What is Apple's vision? Is there some roadmap or something similar that hints at what is to come? Tesla is doing some amazing things. I’m pro Tesla and Apple.

Dan Riccio spent 5 years convincing corporate that the Vision Pro was a good idea then after launching for around a year he realized his horrible mistake and then quit so he can't be blamed as much.

The problem with the Apple Vision Pro isn't the hardware it's that VR has way too much friction and way to few productivity use cases.
