WWE New Bloodline: A Dominant Force?
Professional Wrestling: WWE New Bloodline: A Dominant Force?
The end of the new Bloodline being above Roman Reigns is tiring, yes. But it is the only way they find to make us think that they are invincible and that either Sami Zayn and Jey Uso return or they have nothing to do.
Today we were all waiting for Jey Uso... and he didn't show up. In the process, Roman Reigns has looked like a mortal. Again.
It's tiring, but that's the idea. The story is explaining to you how Roman is lost without his wiseman, how Roman can't let go of his pride and desire for power, and how he needs to reconcile with his family.
WWE New Bloodline: A Dominant Force?
Today Roman Reigns, for the first time in four years, admits his weakness to Jey Uso, his former right-hand man. He ends up devastated because Jey doesn't show up. He even tells him that he's proud of him. That's the point.
They're really doing a good job of making Roman's character seem like someone who's turned a corner, but deep down they're still the same egotistical asshole. The segment with Solo Sikoa antagonizing Roman until he had an outburst like his old persona was really good.
Jey Uso is the only one on the roster who can show up that calmly vs. The Bloodline. His singles run, and now the IC championship, gave him so much aura. Well done! Honestly, we might get the ultimate Jacob Beast mode unleashed. Because the way Jey emphasized that "there's a reason why we stayed away from him" means that he might go full on Samoan werewolf mode on Everyone.
There will come a point in time where Jacob and those boys will turn on Solo Sikoa. Jey knows it. They already proved they don't listen to Solo sometimes.
