UCommune snags $200M, WeWork raises $3B
There’s a lot of fundraising news in the co-working space today. WeWork, the largest player in the industry, has raised $3 billion through a new financing arrangement with repeat backer SoftBank. Meanwhile, UCommune, a China-based rival, has raised $200 million to fuel international growth.
SoftBank is by far the biggest investor in WeWork, which was founded in 2010 and runs shared office spaces around the country.
