BMW M 1000 RR: Design and Features
Automobiles: BMW has unveiled its most powerful and technologically advanced sports bike yet, the M 1000 RR. This superbike is powered by a 999cc in-line-four engine that produces 212 horsepower and 83 lb-ft of torque, making it the most impressive production superbike on the market. The M 1000 RR also features a host of other high-performance components, including carbon fiber bodywork, Öhlins suspension, and Brembo brakes.
BMW India has also launched the brand-new M 1000 RR sports bike in India. The bike comes with 7 riding modes, switchable ABS and traction control. The M 1000 RR is the most expensive and powerful sports bike from BMW in India. It will rival the Ducati Panigale V4 on the Indian market.

The company is booking this superbike. Deliveries of the bike will start in November this year. The bike will be imported as a CBU (Completely Built Unit).
Interestingly, the M 1000 RR bike is an updated version of the S 1000 RR. It is the first production superbike from the company to sport the M badge. The new M 1000 RR costs Rs 49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Buyers will have to shell out Rs 6 lakh more to buy the bike with the M Competition package, taking its price up to Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Both can be adjusted for compression and rebound. BMW Motorrad uses 17-inch carbon wheels made of swingarm aluminum in the bike. The front tire size is 120/70 and the rear tire size is 200/55.

This BMW superbike has a 999 CC 4 cylinder water / oil-cooled inline engine, which generates 212 HP of power at 14,500 RPM and 113 NM of torque at 11,000 RPM. Four titanium valves and BMW ShiftCam technology have been installed in each cylinder of the engine.
The company tuned this engine with a 6-speed gearbox. It is claimed that the bike can run at 0-100 KMPH in 3.1 seconds. Its top speed is 314 KMPH. There are 7 different riding modes available on the bike.

In the M Competition package, you get M GPS lap triggers and M aero wheel covers with the bike for Rs 6 lakh. An anodized rear wheel swing arm that is 220 grams lighter and maintenance free. There's now a carbon package with a DLC-coated M endurance chain, high-quality visible carbon and clear coat components. Also included is an M billet pack and carbon passenger seat cover with a 150-gram lightweight M foot rest.
